This complex is loacted in downtown Bangkok and is also called temple of the Emerald Buddha.
The structures are from the old Bangkok style and are very colorful. There is a lot of
guilding and colorful mozaic tiles. There are also painted murals lining the inside
walls of the compound which were in the process of being touched while we were there.
There are 100 buildings representing 200 years of royal history. Today the complex is
only used by the king (King Five, as he is loving called by the Thais) for ceremonial occassions.
