This one was being scouted and Jon put it on his 2010 NE Ohio "to do list". The overnight rain was a welcome sound and plans were being made to grab something today. Tinkers was an option but turned out to be too high.

So Jon, Shawn & I met at the Parking lot for Brandywine Falls and scouted the first drop below the falls from the rim. This thing looked interesting to say the least if you stayed online. It basically turns left with reactionary waves on both sides and undercut rocks on the banks. There are two large rocks on each side of the last drop which has a sticky hole at the bottom. We all went for the left side of the last drop to skirt the hole at the base.

There is some wood below this drop at water level that can be sneaked on the left. Wood will always be a concern so keep tour eyes open. There is large slide of about 75 yards that is wide open except for some wood on the sides an a somewhat sticky hole at the bottom.

Things to note are the hike in is steep and makes the Cuyahoga Lower gorge hike in trail seem simple. The take out we used is the foorbridge and the run is short but a lot of fun.

Does anyone know if this run has been paddled in the past?

Shawn,

That looks awesome. I could not go yesterday since I had my Neice yesterday.

I can paddle weekdays also.

See you around.

Excellent photos but what happened to all the water, the first couple of photos look like it's crankin' and the last few look like a ditch somewhere.

Did they let you take your boats on the lifts?

I'm so glad I didn't have to do that.
Chuck E. Cheese was way more exciting.
