Yes it's that time again to encourage filing for a permit to support paddling interest on the Cuyahoga gorge. Filing a permit costs nothing but a stamp.
Go to the conservation page on the keelhaulers site and see more of the story.

This is a good reminder.
How about you or Dave send something right away for the next club newsletter to Kelly: peetzaguy@aol.com

Many members do not use the board so many more people will be notified.

Use these links in the newsletter article.
Download a permit: http://www.keelhauler.org/khcc/MetroPermit.pdf

See how to fill it out: http://keelhauler.org/images/SpecUseKayak.jpg

You can also file your permit online. Here's how:

Click above links to open the permit PDF, and save it. Open the PDF with adobe acrobat, Edit--> copy file to clipboard. Open a blank word document, Edit--> paste

Fill it out as described in Kobak's post. 2010, 6 people, Name, address, insurance line blank.

In word chose File-->Print. Chose the printer as Adobe PDF. Click "Print". You will be prompted to name and save the PDF.

Attach the PDF in an e-mail to: ilehman@summitmetroparks.org and msauers@summitmetroparks.org

Should take less than 15 minutes. It is not difficult. I did it, it works.

15 minutes, doesn't cost anything, and helps river conservation. There's no reason not to do it. Even if the chances of you paddling are small, please fill out a permit for the sake of the river.
