I am looking for a surfski to rent or buy to use this season in the Cleveland area. I have to look for an alternative to running as the knees are getting worn out and I am planning to try to establish a fitness routine on paddling.
Comment welcome.
Thanks.

Just to clarify - surfski is a long ( 18+ft ) sit on top kayak. Depending on where you want to paddle, that might not be the best choice, of course that depends on a whole lot of factors.
This might not be the best place to look for "sea kayak" advice, Bradstreet Kayakers ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Bradstreet_Sea_Kayakers/ ) would be a better choice. I know that one person there paddles a surfski, but I am not sure whether he keeps it here or in Florida.
Were you to consider a sit in kayak, you would have more choice. There is Epic Endurance ( usually described as fitness kayak ) listed here at classifieds. |
